Internet shouldn’t be just about social media gossip, try some challenges in “free” courses
There is so much you can do and benefit from the internet if you know the right places to browse. I have explored many positive uses of the social media myself including those on monetization, education and research.
But money aside, you can also get certificates, diplomas and even degrees on the internet for free. I understand “free” belittles the seriousness of school, but having gone through some of the content offered by these platforms myself, I can assure you that, “free” knowledge isnt bad knowledge, after all.
Below are some of the platforms you can study for free and get enlightened on many topics while adding to your list of papers.
1. Codecademy : Dedicated specifically to teaching coding.
Link: https://www.codecademy.com/
2. Alison – Free Empowerment Platform : Offering a variety of certificates and diplomas in Marketing, Communication, Accounting, Interior Design, Management etc.
I have completed Social Media Marketing, Marketing Management, Business Communication as well Public Relations with this platform. I am currently doing Interior Design, Psychology and Advanced Diploma in Political Ideologies.

3. Coursera : A website that partners with universities and organizations around the world. They also have a very good variety of courses you can choose from.
I have enrolled for Digitalization in International Relations with Coursera. Currently doing Global Diplomacy: Diplomacy in the Modern World.

4. edX : Another great option for free online education is edX. Also bringing together courses from many different schools.
Link: https://www.edx.org/
5. Stanford Online : A great site for high-quality courses, though the topics are somewhat limited compared to sites partnered with more than one school.
Link: https://online.stanford.edu/
6. Philanthropy University : A platform for social change that puts practical courses and knowledge-sharing communities.
Link: https://www.philanthropyu.org/
7. Khan Academy : Also curates many courses from around the web and offers impressive depth on many different subjects.
Link: https://www.khanacademy.org/
8. Udemy : Udemy’s free courses are similar in concept to Coursera’s but additionally allows users to build custom courses from lessons.
Link: https://www.udemy.com/
9. Academic Earth : Brings together top notch courses from many different sources and focuses on offering a wide variety of subjects.
Link: https://academicearth.org/
10. Christian Leaders Institute : They offer 100+ free online bible school courses to help you study the Bible and grow in your ministry calling through taking courses and earning credentials.
I enrolled for Christian Basics on this platform. That was in 2012.

Also, from time to time, Harvard Business School Online offers free courses. There are some short courses currently being offered on their platform. Check them out.
The internet offers so much. Don’t just aim for Top Fan budges on celebrities’ pages. Get some knowledge. I hope this helps you. Its what we do here.
